The United Nations has warned that the delivery of life-saving aid to millions of people in Afghanistan could be "severely impeded" as donors have only provided 7 percent of the humanitarian funding appeal for 2024. In total, more than 307 million people around the world are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.
